We see from the above scripture that it was through healings and miracles that power evangelism took place and whole towns would turn to the Lord.  In studying past revivals, we see that healing and miracles were poured out with power from on high upon all those whose hearts were filled with faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.


      John G. Lake (1870-1935) 

He was known as 'A Man of Healing'.  If there was ever a man who walked in the revelation of "God in man," it was John G. Lake. A man of purpose, vision, strength and character, his one goal in life was to bring the fullness of God to every person. He often said that the secret of heaven's power was not in the doing, but in the being. He believed that Spirit-filled Christians should enjoy the same type of ministry Jesus did while living on earth, and that this reality could only be accomplished by seeing themselves as God saw them. John G. Lake lived his life and fulfilled his ministry in the earth with this type of spiritual understanding. If we would just grasp the reality of our position through Jesus Christ, as Lake did, every nation would ring with the praises of God.

Lake set up 'Healing Rooms' first in Spokane, WA. in an office building, then in other cities in the USA.  It is estimated that some one hundred thousand healings took place in Spokane alone.  Because of this Spokane was known as the healthiest city in the USA by the United States Government.


     Charles F. Parham (1873-1929) 

He was known as 'The Father of Pentecost'.  Parham received revelation from the Lord that he should provide a refuge home for those seeking healing.  In 1898, Parham opened his 'Divine Healing Home', named 'Bethel'.  Services were held daily where the Word of God was powerfully taught on healing. Prayer was offered several times throughout the day to those who stayed there.  Mighty miracles & healings took place as a result of this.


     Jack Coe (1918-1957)

He was known as 'The Man of Reckless Faith'. Coe had seen the Lord heal thousands of people, but he also saw thousands who were not healed. He inquired of the Lord concerning this. After he spent time in prayer the Lord revealed to him that many did not understand how to receive their healing and that they were in need of instruction from His Word concerning both God's Heart & Will in healing.  Prayer & Healing classes were offered on a daily basis to all those who needed a healing touch from God. Coe saw great success in this form of 'healing model'.


            
Cal & Michelle Pierce, Directors of 'IAHR'

In July 1999, the Lord led Cal & Michelle Pierce to re-open the Spokane Healing Rooms.  Since they have opened thousands of people have come to receive their healing. They have seen the Lord confirm His Word with healings, miracles, signs & wonders.  Cal is the Director of the 'International Association Of Healing Rooms' - 'IAHR'.  There are over 1,900 Healing Rooms in 52 Nations that are affiliated with 'IAHR'.

The Lord had planted in Rich & Dottie's heart the vision for a 'Healing Center' many years ago.   In 1997, Michael Sullivant, who co-authored with Mike Bickle the book "Growing in the Prophetic", prophesied to them that they would move in healings, miracles, signs and wonders.

In 2001, Jim Goll author of "The Lost Art of Intercession" & "Kneeling on the Promises", prophesied to them that the Lord would give them their own type of 'Prophetic Healing Center'. And so in obedience to the Lord they have brought  forth the 'Healing Rooms Ministries of South Florida'.
